For our Business Unit “Customized Solutions” (CS) we look for the Global Lead of Supply Chain Management & Operations. CS ships specialized products for Thermo Management, E-mobility and other product groups via its global sales subsidiaries to special OE customers and to the aftermarket. One major goal is to improve our network of global operations and regional logistics centers to support in-time shipments with high flexibility of volume and time to subsidiaries and customers.

Job Profile:

  • Lead of the EMEA function Supply Chain and Production
  • Ensuring the global optimization of the operations function within the regional units (global functional lead)
  • Contribution to strategic development of Operations to enable fulfillment of market requirements
  • Continuous and sustainable improvement of Supply Chain Management and Production Network including necessary systems and processes
  • Regularly derive requirements for Operations footprint project based on product and portfolio strategy and comparison with long term plans of operation sites
  • Drive LEAN mindset and develop LEAN initiatives
  • Continuous measurement and evaluation of relevant KPIs

Job Specifications:

  • University degree in (Industrial) Engineering, Business Studies with focus on Supply Chain Management and Production or comparable qualification
  • Five to eight years of relevant experience in the industry or consulting with specialization on Supply Chain Management and Operations
  • Proven experience in Project Management
  • Excellent analytical and conceptional skills
  • High degree of determination, communication, conflict resolution skills and ability to work in a team
  • Experience in coaching and training LEAN
  • Willingness to travel, fluent Business English and international experience
